I'll be the first to admit that ten years is a long time for me to commit to one thing and when I think of the more than $219,000 that we have raised for the kids battling Cancer at The Jimmy Fund and the lives we have saved, I feel immeasurable pride for our accomplishment and great appreciation for the decade of support from people like you.

For obvious reasons the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk, by its experience and for its purpose, has been my passion and my personal quest since becoming healthy enough to start walking in 1998, post my personal battle with Stage IV Cancer. When I think of all we have accomplished I am humbled by the work we have done and I marvel at the power each of us has exhibited from within to make a difference in the lives of these sick children.

September 16th Zach's Pack, comprised of family & friends as well as students & faculty from PlaceNameplaceNatick PlaceTypeHigh School, is walking in honor of two young patients at The Jimmy Fund, Hunter and Max. Both of these very special and extremely courageous kids exhibit immeasurable fortitude as they individually battle cancer. As they are the faces of inspiration for Zach's Pack this year, they represent a much larger population of children who battle cancer at The Jimmy Fund each day.

Our goal again this year is to raise more than $30,000 for the research and treatment of cancers at The Jimmy Fund and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. That will bring our ten year total to over a quarter of a million dollars!!

It has been 10 terrific years leading Zach's Pack and having people like you as part of our support team!! Participating in the walk each September remains an indescribable feeling and tremendous joy. As a survivor, I feel fortunate as I walk alongside the sick, the sad, the healthy and the happy...hearing their stories and seeing their smiles.

As a member of our support team, you motivate me to be the best that I can be. My passion to help these children and this organization is a gift granted in survival and an accomplishment that I cherish and share with you.
